Day 33

tooth fairy is coming tonight!

Day 32

morning dew & bokeh.

Day 31

one day i'm going to miss seeing a cow on wheels and a daily toy disaster, right?  right?

Day 30

thanks to Andrea it was a pleasant afternoon!

Day 29

loved all the contrast in colors.

Day 28

best part about soccer.

Day 27

angelic little face

Day 26

my original thought was going to be a still life out of one of the two images below.  when i take pictures imagine three little kids running circles around me, getting there hands on and into everything because that is usually the case.  the image above is much more the reality and therefore, i couldn't help but love it!
oh, and i have an abundance of oranges at my house not because i'm an orange fruit lover, but because i'm a soccer mom.  he, he.

Jude- 3 month*er

3 months.  They are at the beginning of starting to show some personality.  Such a fun age!  Can be an awkward stage to photograph, but with more documentary type photos it's much easier.
because it is them, being them.  no forced, unnatural positioning.  instead you get looks like "what. what you lookin' at woman."  and that's just rad!
baby chub.  nothing better.  can you see those sock imprints?
Jude likes to take his 'tummy time' flying up, up, up and away so that was a must to capture.

that raised eyebrow gets me....one of the faves.
just a snippet of the photos we took the evening of that huge fire in Herriman.  we had no idea the extent, but it gave the pictures a much more golden hue and you can see the smoke cloud up in the sky even though we were way across the valley....crazy!

Day 24

dying can be beautiful.  morbid?

Day 23

some sort of figurine, usually named "jacob", goes everywhere and anywhere with us these days.  They got to dig in on a yummy lunchable too!

Day 21

purposely wanted the bodies to be out of focus, changing things up a bit and enhancing their body language.  this says,"bring it on!"  our day has been spent at the field and it was scorching hot!

Day 20

i actually think the depth of field on this is too shallow, but i still like the cool wood walkway!  its creamy.

Day 19

call it a weed if you like, but it's pretty.  love how the light hit it just right illuminating the bloom.

Day 18

the crisp, cool air of Fall gives me a good excuse to start baking my favorite type of desserts- anything pumpkin!  mmm, the smell alone has me salivating.

Day 17

the big brother, is thinking this little brother, is pretty cool!

Day 16

if you had to pick- earth, sky, water, fire what would your favorite be?  we were discussing this the other night, mine would be sky.  always made my heart patter.  earth is kinda a cheap shot answer because its so vast.

Cruz- 11 months

ever seen a tattoo on a baby?  me neither, but is there anything in the world that isn't cute on a baby?  let me answer that for you- hmmmm, nope.  We had some fun with his cute, pudgy body.

Day 15

i know you want some sock shoes.  best invention ever.  made to help new walkers walk, no slippage, machine washable and for the life of him he can't pull them off!  best $12.99 i've spent in a long time.  i heart Target!

Day 14

our weekend was as crazy as these kicks!

Day 13

26 and still dream of owning one of these big, gentle animals.

Day 12

afternoon cartoons.  wish this kid would give in a take a nap once in awhile!
these pictures are basically the same, just couldn't decide if i liked capturing more of the environment or close up?

Day 11

Finally, enjoying being outside without being covered in sweat!  Fall is here.

i won't lie, this 365 project has been harder than anticipated.  it is SO hard to find an ounce of time for the camera that I take a picture and that is that.  Not much time to get creative, inspired or mess around.  Hopefully, Fall schedules will slow down and I can continue this project happily!  It is not in my blood to quit, so I can't.

Day 10

my bed is lonely and been calling my name all day.

Day 9

"Wehoooooooo!" that is what always comes out of this dudes mouth when he is having a whole bunch of fun.  And, thrilled he looked at me!

Day 8

not a bit shabby to wake up to.  i can still smell those tall, swaying pines.

Day 7

bear lake daisies.  to me, the dead ones enhanced the flowers in bloom.  perfectly un-perfect!

Day 6

peeking in on camp and the fixings of breakfast.

Day 5

(SOOC)
slade's summer highlights.

Day 4

although they keep dying, i keep buying.  sometimes all you need to brighten your day is a flower!  (and yes, technically this is two pictures, but today it is one!)
